The Band predates the Ozark Mountain Daredevils by quite a few years, and their first release even predates the Byrds' Sweetheart of the Rodeo and the debut of New Riders of the Purple Sage.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

He's a really good friend of my buddy who is a blues musician. The commander played at his wedding.

This might have already been said, they formed at a song-writing retreat. They had such a good session they stayed together and created the first CD. Chicken Train and Standing on the Rock (as well as if you want to go to heaven) meant there was enough demand for album 2. It will Shine is not as good as the first.
