Magellan - Hour of Restoration - remastered CD 2011

I just noticed that King Japan remastered this title in 2011. The original is a bit muddy. Does anyone have the remaster? Is it much of an improvement over the original? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I'd be interested to hear as well, as I always liked this album. I did prefer Impending Ascension, however, from the early Magellan vaults - - - Jeff

Its muddy due to mixing; remastering without remixing is not likely to garner any improvements in sonic quality other than it could be overcompressed now and make your ears bleed.

If so, I will stick with my 'muddy' original copy.

I just heard from the main man himself! He is not aware of the King Japan release and by definition is not getting any revenue from it. On that basis, sonically superior or not, I'm leaving well alone.

I still enjoy HoR a lot, as Impending Ascension.
If it were to get retweaked I wish Trent would get the drums recorded properly.
