do you guys get inundated with ads on Facebook and elsewhere touting the next big synth simulator

I do, and I just ignore them like all the other spam, which is hard to stay on top of as far as deleting goes. I think they get your address when you buy their products and register them. Then you got to go back thru all that and unsubscribe from them. It's a never ending process and loop of aggravation.

I get tons of ads for Sweetwater. But that isn't exactly unexpected (or unwelcome)

I prefer adds for synthesizers over adds for penis enlargements or girls who want a relation (though I would be open for that, I don't think I'm the person those girls would be looking for).

It's the size of your bank account that would attract them, not the size of your prog collection.

And I don't think they are interested in my instruments as well. I suppose I don't have the instrument they are interested in.

I wonder what the load in and sound check time would be for that?

Nostalgia, you know, ain't what it used to be. Furthermore, they tells me, it never was.

Just keep it at home. Don't even know how much time will go in tuning and if everything will stay in tune. I remember that was sometimes an issue with the old analog stuff especially with changing temperatures.

Just the fact that he's wearing a jacket makes me think he keeps that room cold so those oscillators stay in tune better.

Looks pretty neat! Could probably build something close, maybe with fewer Mother32/DFAMs

I've calculated the whole set-up, with 9 Mother32/DFAMs would cost me something like 8,000 euros.

I really need to get that grand prize in the lottery.
