^^^ Wow! Hard core synth porn! Now all I need is $32K and a divorce attorney! Woo Hoo!
^^^ , you don't know my wife - it would be easier to convince an astronaut aboard the International Space Station that the earth is flat.
I've listened to that impro-thing above a bit, but although the instrument is fascinating my feeling is that what they're producing is quite limited and "old fashioned". It must be possible to produce more adventurous beats and sounds from this machine.
Probably - it's brand new and the guys in the store has more or less just got it up and running and tweaking away. They will need some time to get into it I suppose. Most of the time I get quite underwhelmed by these monster synths and annoyingly refer to such as "the expensive machine that go BING"

Nostalgia, you know, ain't what it used to be. Furthermore, they tells me, it never was.

Okay I straight up LOVED that. Live looping is one of those performance approaches that has always eluded me and it never ceases to amaze me to see it in action.
Oh and I actually have the Expressive-E Touché that she discussed at the end of the video. Amazing, remarkable device. Anyone interested in adding a bit more "expressiveness" to their synth rig would do well to investigate one of these. They work really well with both hardware and software synths (and in fact, it comes with a soft synth setup that works especially well with the Touché).
Thanks so much for sharing! Now I want to find some of her other gear videos...

How the hell does she perform, play and sing while tweaking all those buttons?

10 greatest Synths of all time
I think I've got all of those top 10 in a VST, or near enough.
Speaking of which, do you guys get inundated with ads on Facebook and elsewhere touting the next big synth simulator, or the next class on mixing and mastering and compression and etc. ? I think Big Brother has gotten a hold of my interest in this music making hobby and is plastering me with these things.
