Yes, this sounds quite nice, although there have been some lengthy debates regarding the paraphonic versus polyphonic labeling.
I've heard some meh demos and some that are absolutely delicious.

I only have problems with the editing software of my Nord G2 Engine. Suppose I need a new version of the editing software.

Have fun with that. Several months ago I purchased the Arturia effects bundle, 3 classic emulations, one of them based on the Roland RE201 Space Echo.
I'm using Cubase 6 on Windows 10. Every time I activated the Roland 201, Cubase would crash.
A week or more of emails with Arturia support(who were very helpful), trials and errors, we could not resolve the issue and I was given a refund. Sad too, because the Space Echo sounds awesome.

They told me when they test for compatibility, Cubase 6 is considered old and it was never tested and coded for compatibility.I think their site shows Cubase 8, 9 and 10. I have no issue with my Arturia Prophet V and the compressors I own.
So if your Arturia stuff keeps crashing when using the Arturia software, that might be the problem.

I have Cubase 8 Pro, so I'm save for that. I didn't have problems with crashing, but Cubase stopping while playing. Now I have a faster processor, twice as much memory and a bigger SDD.

Just a thought - a (musically) conservative prog fan and friend of mine boldly stated that all of the good classic prog was made before the invention of the polyphonic synths, using mono synths, Hammonds, string machines, pianos and Mellotrons (of course). Really, are there any revered prog using polys, from the late 70s and on, where the polysynth has a crucial role (NOT emulating Mellotrons, sampled strings, etc)? Later ELP (GX-1), Vangelis CS80-period, Rush from Signals (OB-8voice) and on? What is your opinion, as prog-synth-jockeys?

MPE is amazing, it's basically like MIDI+ and enables you to use multiple gestures per note played: pitch, velocity, aftertouch, and more. Lots of synths can do per-channel (for example, the mod wheel affects all notes played on that MIDI channel), a very select few can do polyphonic (per note) aftertouch, but MPE is a pretty next-level kind of beast.

This video from the good Mr Linn does a nice job of demonstrating what is possible in terms of performance with a MPE-capable setup. I'm lucky enough to own a few MPE capable devices, and they are really, really, excellent.

The Linnstrument in this video is a grid-type controller with a configuration not unlike a guitar fretboard (said config can be modified in a number of different ways). Folks with a background in guitars (normal or touch ala the Stick) might find this a particularly interesting little device.

Thanks, the LinnStrument is intriguing. I can see the potential of virtuosic performances qualitatively different than that which can be done using keyboards or guitars.

Aurora and Mystical Adventures were the first Jean Luc Ponty albums I owned. Those are the only ones I had on vinyl.
A friend of mine, who was a avid Frank Zappa fan, played me Aurora, which urged me to buy it. My friend didn't really like it, so I suppose he bougth because of the Zappa connection.

John, I think this video explains the Behringer Poly D paraphonic, polyphonic terminolgy question used in the Poly D, at least for me it made how it's used on the Poly D understandable.
