I haven't seen the above footage although it says 2012 as the posting date. I have seen some
other live footage of Novalis on Youtube.

Nice to finally see more live Novalis. The only thing I’d previously seen is that heavily truncated version of their live fave “Wer Schmetterlinge lachen hört” that’s been floating around for a while now. I can see why they stuck with Fred as singer. In addition to having a very strong voice, he has great stage presence!

The first video is a poem by the German poet Novalis (Friedrich Freiherr von Hardenburg) put to music by a German singer. The only link with the group Novalis is they used the same poem for 'Wenn nicht mehr Zahlen und Figuren' on the Brandung album.
