R.I.P. Heat Miser

Not on a lot of people's radar this week, with Carrie Fisher, George Michael and Alphonse Mouzon passing, but Tony-winning character actor George S. Irving passed away on Dec 26 at the age of 94. (Ironically, he won his Tony starring in "Irene" opposite Carrie Fisher's mother, Debbie Reynolds, which also marked the Broadway debut of Carrie Fisher herself). Though he had a long, long career on stage and screen - he may just be most known for voicing the character of the Heat Miser in The Year Without a Santa Claus.
