Sounds promising, if its as good as the last one I'm in!
Meh. Don't care at all for the cheesy spoken word intro/outro.
Overproduced... But the Morse/Airey interaction in the middle is very enjoyable. Something they could stretch out live to good effect.
not bad.

I really enjoyed Now What?! I'm totally in for this new album.

Lame tune but the GTR/KEYS interlude from 1:45 to 3:00 was somewhat redeeming....they should do more of THAT.

Song's not half bad... I'm not a big purple fan

Really cool.
Some nice keyboard/guitar weaving there around 2:27. Some real dumb-ass lyrics though - how the hell do you pillory an army of butterflies? Jezuz!
Going on without Gillan was questionable... going on without Blackmore... deal breaker.. going on without Jon Lord... Jesus!...
Good tune. I loved the last one. Don Airey does a great job on DP. I hope they headline San Francisco.

Weird intro/outro but I liked it. I'm a bit surprised they decided to do another album but they seem to be doing well. The Wacken show two years ago shows that this band isn't dead yet, Fred, and I'd venture to guess that sales of Now? What! weren't all that bad so it's financially feasible for them to do it again. Then again, if they don't want to become just a oldies band they have to make some new music otherwise the setlist is just rehashing old stuff.
Any time I can hear Steve Morse and Don Airey is a good time.
Carry On My Blood-Ejaculating Son - JKL2000
Totally disagree. Airey and Morse brought the best parts to their last album and apparently are still doing so on the new one. Plus, Blackmore was already successfully replaced by Tommy Bolin on the excellent Come Taste The Band. Don't get me wrong, Blackmore is probably one of my top 5 all time favorite guitar gods, but he is way more replaceable than Gillan.
I've always thought that Gillan's lyrics were of varying degrees of quality, so I just attempt to ignore them and view the vocal line as another instrument. Like several others have said here, I really dig the guitar/organ interplay.
I love Gillan's singing, but he's no Keats!
Not sure it was such a successful replacement... Bolin.. decent album, if it was called some other band, no one would have argued it was really DP.
No Blackmore and no Gillan on CTTB. Similar to YES going on without Anderson, Wakeman on Drama. It's a different band.
