Dear friends,
It’s been nearly four years since Clogs sent our last email update, back when we appeared at the 2013 Adelaide Festival. Yikes! What's up with Clogs? We’re living in four countries on three continents, so we just get together for occasional projects.
We started recording some new instrumentals & songs a couple of years ago during a frigid January in Vermont with - 20 F temperatures each morning! Nevertheless, the cars started and we made it to the studio each day. There, we had the pleasure of working with Susanne Peck and her women's choir, who contributed some lovely vocals. In March, we’ll meet in NY to wrap up the recording and mixing, and hope to send an update about the next album later in 2017.
Here are a few other updates from the group:
1. Padma tours with Sarah Kirkland Snider’s “Unremembered” project in March, together with Shara Nova and DM Stith.

2. We’re gearing up for the April premiere of Padma’s chamber opera, “2 Moon Smile”. Clogs will spend a week in Vermont developing the piece, together with Heliand Consort and the inimitable soprano Mary Bonhag.

3. A Kickstarter campaign has just launched to support our production of “2 Moon Smile”. We had a great opening weekend, and are already halfway to meeting our goal! We invite you to watch the short video about the project, and make a pledge of support for Padma’s chamber opera. Thanks!
