    Fabio Frizzi

Fabio Frizzi is an Italian film composer , who has become "famous" for his collaboration with Italian director Lucio Fulci.
He studied composition and guitar and in his scores he mixes acoustic and electronic instruments. He has an interesting style that comes sometimes close to bands like Present and Magma.

My personal favorite scores are :
Paura nella città dei morti viventi (Gates Of Hell) 1980
    L'aldila (the beyond) 1981

Here is a video that presents some of his themes in concert

The Beyond is beyond awesome. "Sequenza Ritmica E Tema" certainly sounds like some of the Goblin guys play on it (that has to be Fabio on bass), which would be no surprise since Frizzi previously collaborated with them (Il Reale Impero Britannico).

This track is from a Lucio Fulci film called Sette Note In Nero (The Psychic) 1977 the soundtrack is by Fabio Frizzi, Franco Bixio and Vince Tempera who worked often together. Tarrantino used one of the themes of the film for Kill Bill 1 signed by Vince Tempera
