Laura, a month is nothing, I had to work on them for thirty years.

While we are on the subject of Keith, the album with Glenn Hughes, The Boys Club Live, is well worth hearing.
I do like the King Biscuit Flower Hour album. I liked it so much that I purchased the limited edition clear vinyl LP that was released in 2015.

I'm not patient enough to bother anymore with Keith's movie soundtracks or the stuff with Marc Bonilla. I bought the Moscow DVD but couldn't watch it more than once.

I don't care for anything that includes Marc Bonilla. I don't like his shredding guitar sound or his vocals. He does a terrible job covering Greg's songs. To me, Dave Kilminster was a much better fit in Keith Emerson Band.

I think that we all can agree that Palmer's PM is the best solo album ever!

Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally

I always saw Bonilla as a jazz rock guitarist, rather than a shredder, but I could be wrong.

that live London LP is pretty cool though it should be noted for those looking to acquire the show that the LP is not complete(missing a few of his solo album tracks) so if you just want the full show find one of the many cd releases (although they do not all have cest la vie which is actually a pretty cool version)

The main reason I bought the LP is for that version of C'est La Vie which I never saw anywhere else.

I have the original King Biscuit Flower Hour CD also.

C'est La Vie isn't on the King Biscuit Flower Hour CD, since it was from a show in NYC, not from the Hammersmith Odeon show.

Come on, you have to watch for the pyrotechnics at the end. Wow!

Surprised that CP hasn't impounded this video.

That reminds me of an interview with Greg where he mentioned a show in Italy that featured fireworks that were shot off the stage and into the crowd. The promoter thought it was something that would make up for the lack of stage lights during the show, due to miscommunication about the date of the show.

dunno about all the negativity for this clip--this has to be some of the best lip-sync'ing I've ever seen--and don't think the guitarist & bassist are even plugged in!!

I love those soundtracks though I only tend to pull them out during the odd late night.

I like Marc Bonilla though I tend to prefer his solo albums to the work he did with Emerson though I did like his performance on the Moscow CD.

Never got into Kilminster. He played on The Nice reunion live album in 2002 and I think Roger Waters has used him quite a bit. I'm sure Kilminster is on other music I have too, but I can't recall at the moment.

Yes, Kilminster has played with Waters a lot. That's why he wasn't with Emerson, since he was busy with Waters.

I'll admit I was expecting great things when I picked this up in the mid-80s.

Didn't stop me from picking up the CD later on though. Not his best work obviously.

Saw him live with Waters. I just wasn't feeling it.

I don't have anything Palmer did outside of ELP.

I have Emerson's 2008 CD, which I've only listened to twice, his Christmas album, and Changing States.

I have everything available from Lake.

Well, he's no Gilmour, but he's not a shredder either, which is why I thought he was a better fit for Emerson.

Yes, I confirmed that by contacting the webmaster at greglake.com. She said I had to order from the UK Amazon site, not the US Amazon site.

I preordered at the Amazon UK site. They sent me an email yesterday that the release date is June 22, rather than May 25, which was originally stated.
