    Use of a church organ in a progressive music?

    Do you like when a track and (or) an album features church organ? for example like this...

    ...or some contemporary stuff like this..

    “Pleasure and pain can be experienced simultaneously,” she said, gently massaging my back as we listened to her Coldplay CD.

    OK, maybe that is not the organ's finest hour in progressive music.

    My favorite uses of a Church Organ in Prog (along with "Awaken" by Yes);
    Emerson, Lake & Palmer - "The Three Fates", "Promenade (Live-from "Pictures At An Exhibition") & "The Only Way"
    Yes - "Close To The Edge"

    Goblins Profondo Rosso was recorded at Orthophonic Studios in Rome, which belonged (at least partially) to Ennio Morricone. The studio is actually build in the basement of a church with a direct connection to the church organ, so that the organ could be directly recorded in the studio. Claudio Simonetti speaks about it in the bonus of the Suspiria extended DVD edition.

    I have a church organ in the studio so I think it's on all of the Necromonkey discs and Anima Morte.

    Did that naked guy on the Yes album cover ever find a pair of trousers? The most dangerous thing ever is when you walk around and shart yourself but you forgot to put trousers on.

    A gentleman is defined as someone who knows how to play the accordion, and doesn't.

    I'm fond of George Duke's pipe organ solo on FZ's "Fifty-Fifty."
