Arrived in the mail today: Sukellusvene - Vesi- Ja Lintumusiikkia (Finnish prog-fusion from 1978. Read about it in an email from Svart Records, which describes it as sounding more like an early-'70s album, with which I agree.) Very nice!

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

To lazy to check but I picked up Porcupine Tree's Box Set for the Delerium Years. Man, this is a very impressively assembled box with lots of rare tracks and a cool hardbound book that I haven't read yet.
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound.

I somehow missed Sweden's Secret Service and I had seen and heard some of their songs on YouTube recently, sooo I ordered Top Secret ( greatest hits). I've only just listened to some of it in the car, cranked up! What's not to love? Sure, their top two hits, pure 70s pop. The rest, Euro-synth pop, some pulsing beats ( can you say disco-ish), with one song that could pass for prog. Just what the doctor ordered.
