What are your thoughts on this one?
I like it. I was a big metal-head back in my teens, Rainbow, Sabbath, Motorhead, Purple, Saxon, Tygers Of Pan Tang, Iron Maiden. For some reason Judas Priest completely passed me by. I've been revisiting a lot of my early metal recently so decided to check this one out. It's a lot mellower than I remember back then but I've probably got used to the more extreme modern stuff. It's a fun record. Probably go for British Steel or Scream For Vengeance next.

British Steel is a great one, but Stained Class is their best-ever, imo.
If you don't know that one, try it.

Glad you like it. I played the hell out of this album in the 1970s. It's a sentimental favourite. I suspect this also represents the origins of Progressive Metal. This is the peak for me but British Steel and Stain Class are solid releases.
