Let me know what you think of Mr and Mrs Smith / Spratley's Japs. I sampled a bit of the former and was slightly disappointed. It was after the show last night, so it's possible I was just fried.

    Nik Bärtsch's Ronin - Live

Bought from the band after their concert in Stavanger, Norway, one hour ago.

This was the first record I bought in almost eight months! (Last time was at the RIO-fest in France, September 2013.)

I enjoyed both, they are a different animal than Cardiacs, it's more folky and more mellow, I was expecting that and like it. Do you have William D Drake - The Rising Of Lights? Great album in this vein.

I'm jealous, would love to see Nik Bartsch Ronin, it's a terrific album, you going to RIO this year? I'll be there.

I don't. I think of the two, I preferred Spratley's, but even it had me yearning for the real deal (if that makes any sense). Hopefully after some time with these, they will grow on me.

I'm going to RIO. I think the line up this year is great.

I'm waiting for a small order from Wayside to arrive. Otherwise, I will probably wait til RIO before I buy more - have some catching up to do with AltRock releases. I hope Marcello will be there.

Unfortunately the Auberge was full when I tried to book, so we will have to stay in Carmaux, which is a bit inconvenient.

Listening to Nik Bärtsch - Live, as I wright. Sounds very good - full of energy.

The Steven Wilson "Cover Version" CD.

I'm glad I held off buying any of the versions until they were all available on one CD. Couldn't be bothered with getting up to change the disc each time.

Van der Graaf Generator - H to He, Who am the only one

Already own it twice on vinyl, but well, since I'm collecting them on CD, I bought this.

Still wondering if I should buy Pawn hearts again, for the bonus tracks.
