But I don't think that much. In 1358 he worked as a chaplain for cardinal Gil d'Albornoz, so I suppose he was born before that year.

From what little i've read, there may be dates that refer to Ciconia's father, not to Ciconia the younger. In any event, the recent cd i have lists his birthdate as c.1370,so i'll accept that until there's some consensus (if ever) about his date of birth.

Still waiting patiently for Patience, but my patience is running out, I may cancel the order.

Also ordered Judy Dyble - Enchanted Garden.
I didn't do so well with this bunch of purchases.

I Robot arrived - no problems there...

The retailer cancelled my order for Patience; they cannot get it! Hard to believe - George Michael is not exactly an obscure artist.

And after waiting for a month for Enchanted Garden to arrive, I emailed the retailer and apparently my net search had turned up an out of date entry in their catalogue - they no longer stock the album. Their system had nevertheless taken my money and placed the order. I got a refund immediately after sending my email.

I found another store that says they stock Enchanted Garden, so I have ordered from them and have my fingers crossed that this is not another false lead.

The Thrak Box from late October pretty much killed my purchases for the rest of the year. We'll see what might arrive from Santa.
