    Just finished listening to the Sam Rivers CD. It's a great sounding live album, and the rhythm section is phenomenal! Sam really was playing great right to the end. RIP

    Yeah! And Milt and Bobby are my favorites. Milt Jackson is one of the few guys who can play lots of blues and keep me captivated. His solos are so damn inventive and beautiful!

    Both the Drake and the Jaga are great, and the Godspeed is their finest since the early 2000s, IMHO. Where did you get the Ghost Rhythms, Ian?

    Just received in the mail the 2014 release by 'The Honey Trees'. Some of the prettier music I've heard-lots of minors and interesting progressions largely written and sung by the beautiful Becky Filip.
