A trip today out to Dundas, Ontario to the always excellent Records On Wheels, owned and operated by PE's own "Birdy". Picked up two long OOP titles that have been on my want list for quite some time, Cyan's The Creeping Vine and Malibran's Le Porte Del Silenzio. Such a terrific shop, highly recommended to anyone in the area or passing through.

^^ I'll second your thoughts on Birdy's store. I stopped in there while on vacation a couple years ago and picked up 2 discs that had been on my own want list. Nice guy too!

My manager gave me a gift card in appreciation of putting in some extra time to pick up the slack of someone else who quit, so I went to the flagship store of what best passes for a record store around here any more, and after about an hour of browsing I almost left empty handed, but decided to grab:

It's a huge honor to me that somebody would buy one of my records & Disco Volante in the same batch – that album and California were huuuuuuuuge early influences on everything I've ever done. I think I first heard DV in seventh or eighth grade, and in terms of my fitness to survive in polite society, it's all been downhill from there.
