It is a nice collection, with an interesting booklet in German. The English version is on the MIG website. The only thing I miss is line-up information for each album. By reading the booklet, one can find that out, but I would have loved it if they had a musicians list for each album, next to the songtitles.

Aside from Thinking Plague, who I can't get into at all, some really nice choices! I'm surprised how much I like Astra. I'm not usually into psych type of groups, but they do it so well.

^^^^ These had all been on my want list, some for over a year. When Steve announced his Wayside Summer sale a few weeks back, I figured it was time to pull the trigger (I would have liked to buy more too). I've only listed to Astra so far and....so far so good! There's something about their music that just draws me in. Could it be the mellotron washes? The hammond flourishes? The moog noodling? They've just nailed that early 70's sound, yet maintain a personality all their own.

I have some of these albums on vinyl but it's good to have them all in one place on CD. I'm going on a road trip this weekend and this will be the soundtrack.
