I've bought very little of late. I finally got around to getting the ZZ Top "Six Pack" as MP3's, which is a comp of 6 of their first 7 albums. Deguello is not included, and I already have that on CD. This is the set where they remixed it, and lots of fans don't like it. But I'm not a purist and don't mind, plus it was real cheap, under 25 bucks. I wanted to get this when it first came out, which I beleive was the early 90's. Glad I finally got around to it after all these years. I'm loving the early stuff, especially Rio Grande Mud. Great band.

25 bucks for MP3s? CD copies on Amazon start at around 8 bucks.

It's a 3 disc set, and the CD's were far more than the MP3's. Maybe there was a used set, I don't take chances on those.

You'd be better off with the newer remastered single albums minus the tacked on gobs of reverb on the Six Pack set.

Nah, I'm so far from a purist, the reverb and other changes don't bother me much at all. I've listened to all six albums and can only heard a couple songs that the changes hurt it much to my ears. Not worth buying these albums again, and I'm happy I didn't spend much to begin with. I did delete one song, a track called "Leila" off of El Loco. One of the worst songs I've ever heard! They were trying for a pop ballad and failed miserably. Not one of their better albums, but still some good songs there.
