Modern Fusion of the more Jazzy variety

Of course we've got the likes of Thundercat...

    Robert Glasper Experiment

    Hiatus Kaiyote

    Mehliana

    Jason Lindner
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMhCb1rQc_4

I don't see a lot of talk of this jazzier side of fusion much in prog circles, but I definitely feel it belongs. Any other suggestions of this kind?

edit: okay this seems to have become a regular old fusion thread. so yeah!

Thanks for introducing me to something new!

Just listened to Mehliana's Hungry Ghost and ... wow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tn6gjoMUEY4

Glad you're digging Mehliana. I'm watching this one, Sleeping Giant, currently and busting my sides laughing at its cheekiness, so good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mrokp2Pmapg

Donny McCaslin's album might be up someone's alley in this regard...

Someone I thought I'd add to the mix:

    https://tryezz.bandcamp.com/album/club-of-diamonds

Kind of an electro-jazz-funk type of thing.

On second thought, this may fall more on the funk side of things more than the OP wanted. Apologies in advance if such is the case.

I just checked out this thread now. I thought the OP was looking for fusion that was more jazz than rock. Nope.

Big fan here of Thundercat, Robert Glasper, Hiatus Kaiyote and BadBadNotGood. Unfamiliar with the rest. Totally into this kind of current fusion stuff.
