This is a tall cool glass of awesome. Couldn't preorder fast enough.

The trailer sounds so tantalizing, too! And the blurb suggests there may be some definite surprises in there.

Auto-order. I had several email conversations with Tod when he came out of retirement, and I cherish his honestly and humility.

Odd though that the files were curated by Justin Brierley. The guy who worked most closely with Tod and would've been in the best position to polish them up for release was David Myers.

That's the best news I've heard in a while. Wow.

Anybody else got their copy yet?

I'll admit I was kinda disappointed by it. I know the files were found on Tod's computer and chosen by Brierly to be released "as is." Still, they sound a lot more like "idea sketches" than finished pieces, and there's not nearly as much variety between the pieces as in most Dockstader albums. These feel unfinished -- as indeed they were -- and sorry to say, unworthy of release.

I wish David Myers had curated the release.

I received my copy a few days ago, played it once and i dig it.I'll revisit it again today and try to make a note of any specific feelings or qualms about the tracks. This music requires a few spins for me to make any lasting impressions, but as i said, on first listen, i didn't feel it was unworthy of release. Not at all.
