I was delighted to see a thread with Tempest in it.
Their first release is my all time fave rock record, and i did enjoy their second release also, but it just was not the same band without Holdsworth.
Another band that you may be interested in was the american band Dust, who released 2 records in 1971 and 1972.
Their second release Hard Attack is incredible, think of the classic Who and that should give you some idea of their level of musicianship.
Looking forward to listening to Tempest live when i have a chance.

I was at their concert in Linköping Sweden .Not my cup of tea really but Alan H is an interesting guitarist of course.Having bought Juicy Lucys "Get a whiff a this"
made me interested though to see Paul Williams in this band.

I got it, I can confirm it's great!
And there's a Ramone in it too!
