    Sigh

    *whispers* I know. Mythology innit?

I think he's actually the big fella in the Cardiacs shirt, but i could be wrong. He's changed a lot in 25 years who woulda thunk.

The Tim Smith tunes I remember being played were:

'Sleep All Eyes Open' (Guns) by Ham Legion,
'Vine' (Spratleys Japs) by Heavy Lamb
'Ocean Shipwreck' (OceanLandWorld) by Redbus Noface
'To My Piano from Mr Drake' (Mr & Mrs Smith and Mr Drake) by William D Drake and his so called friends
'Home Of Fadeless Splendour' (Heaven Born & Ever Bright) by lots of people who had played that day or involved in some way or another.
Thanks richard. I'd have loved to have seen/heard Ocean Shipwreck!

This reminds me i still haven't bought a copy of the Redbus Noface album. It's bloody brilliant.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Question for Kavus: Who played the Keyboard parts on Garage Concerts?? Did Tim Play them pre-recorded? Revisited this lovely piece of history and loved every note. History was beheld by my damp ears

I guess if it comes with a Knifeworld then it's ok.

I was actually gonna ask about this, 'cause no one seems to talk about it. Thoughts? I like the samples on the site.

Sorry! I've met too many people over the years, that think it's true. So I'm always wary.

It was always referred to as 'Bill in a box' which might explain who did them. I do like the fact they used ancient sounding midi-type keyboard parts during the live set rather than modernising them. Having said that the big washes of keys during the likes of Everso... and Hope Day always sounded incredible live.

Listening to the DS ep now (download copy). All three tracks are excellent, although Made All Up took me a while to warm to for some strange reason.

I can't help but wonder how representative these songs were in relation to LSD.

What’s worrisome is that there’s someone out there who has nearly attained your platinum level of Cardiacs obsession.

There are a few that are more obsessed than I am, I know 'cos I've met them Also, I'm already receiving psychological attention.

BTW, anyone remember the name of the guy who wrote his own biog type book of attending over a hundred Cardiacs gigs?

What I am currently working on is a Pete Frame style interconnected boxes diagram for Cardiacs, its members, their former and later bands, spin offs and even bands engineered, produced and guested by Cardiacs personnel. Not easy, so I'm having to do it by members rather than band, for example I can't connect Karda Estra directly to Cardiacs but I can via Kavus and then also on to Knifeworld, NSRO, Admirals Hard. Then sometimes the lines come into one box from 2 directions e.g. Panixsphere has a line coming in from Cardiacs via Tim and Bic and from Levitation via Bic.
