    Mike Rutherford's best songs

Just finished reading Rutherford's The living years. Not bad, bit dry but the odd tit-bit made it a worthwhile read.
Got me thinking that his writing style back in the days of Genesis which was quite dinstinctive. Difficult to distinguish 100% Rutherford compositions from the collaborations apart from the obvious ones like 'Your own special way' and 'Snowboudn which incidentally not on my list. So here are my top ten favourites:

    1 Can-Utility and the Coastliners
    2 The Cinema Show
    3 Seven Stones
    4. Looking for someone
    5 Fly on a Windshield
    6 Time Table
    7 Duke's Travels"/"Duke's End" suite
    8 For Absent Friends
    9 The Musical Box
10 The Return of the Giant Hogweed

Hold on, wasn't Absent Friends written by Hackett? Also, many of these songs were credited to the whole band weren't they?

It was by Hackett and Collins, at least according to an interview I read with Collins.

The OP's list is totally wrong.

    Personally, I really like Snowbound.

    DOH!
In my rush to get the list out i obviously didn't check the facts sufficiently well. I take it all back:-) Should have set out to celebrate Hackett's songwriting prowess rather than Rutherford's

Is there a list about who composed the music of each song? I am not interested in who wrote the lyrics.
