Wait, when did RMP and AMP start?
Now I feel old.
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.
Congrats to PE and the whole crew who keep it all going.
...trolls be damned......great place for: Prog knowledge, drama, and wallet-draining.
....and speaking of a PE retirement home, at the rate most of us dispense with our discretionary income on Prog music, I'm sure our nest-eggs are suffering because of it.
Should have killed it at birth.
The older I get, the better I was.
Wow that's a long time, and I've hardly missed a day in all of those years. Still the first place I check in the morning and the last one at night. PE has cost me thousands in CDs, but has been responsible for some great finds, great gigs and great friends. I'll be here until Sean switches off the lights now I reckon.
Happy Birthday PE and thanks to all those behind the scenes who do so much.
A whole lot has changed since we started in late '99. Like the whole WORLD!
Yet good musical talk never goes out of style. Thankfully!
No PE. No Metman.
WANTED: Sig-worthy quote.
Metman never carried on under a different guise, did he?
I joined in 2002 around April I think. Been fun. Lots of great music discussion, and some funny, silly blokes. I can only think of 2-3 people in 14 years who were complete a-wholes.
How cool. Happiest of birthdays and thanks so much to Sean and the mods!!
Are there camples?
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart
i remember hearing about this place in the once great Rush club on Yahoo.
joined with the encouragement of Sean & Dom/Cirkus! sometime in '98.
i have to say that i listen to alot more music because of this place....... THANK YOU PE!
almost old enough to vote..... woops can't go there!
Happy Anniversary PE!

We're on a roll now
“Pleasure and pain can be experienced simultaneously,” she said, gently massaging my back as we listened to her Coldplay CD.
Congratulations Sean!
Thank you, PE. I have discovered so much new music that I would not have tried otherwise. It's all due to the certain level of expertise displayed by so many on here. Thinking Plague, Dues Ex Machina, Kenso and Seven Impale are among the bands I now can't live without but I would have remained ignorant to were it not for Progressive Ears!!!

We're rollin' a bit here!

When did the site first migrate from the Yahoo Group? I can't even remember how long I've been here

Sometimes weaving through the narcissistic soup takes a toll... but I've discovered some excellent music from being here. Met some cool people too. Thank you everyone! Cheers
