Those old Betty Davis records along with Gil Scott and Curtis Mayfield are insanely good.
A co-worker, in my first ever job, lent me a copy of this and The Doors' Full Circle. I liked them both and lent him Meddle by Pink Floyd (which he said was very effective). In another job, a colleague lent me various Simon and Garfunkel abums, Springsteen's Born to Run and some LPs by Little Walter, which included Catfish Blues. I enjoyed the Simon & Garfunkel and Springsteen, but I could not get into Little Walter. I lent this colleague Nektar's Recycled, which he hated.

Just kidding! I love Betty, too!
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883...
Betty Davis, They Say I'm Different and Nasty Gal are excellent albums.
A fan here!!.
I´m waiting for this "little treasure"... :
The Columbia Years 1968/1969.

"The vibe is intrinsically unique, fresh, and futuristic—jazz heavyweights playing psychedelia, rock, and jazz-fusion long before the term became commonplace. The songs include Betty originals and covers of classics by Creedence and Cream. The concepts explored on these previously unheard sessions fueled concepts that wouldn’t be fully realized until years later with Miles’ seminal On The Corner."
Pura Vida!.
There are two kinds of music. Good music, and the other kind. ∞
