we have been going through my dad's things. I got some of his books on the Crusades and some American history, such as books about the Constitution, but a lot went to either donations or to a used book store. Got some of my dad's records, cds and dvds as well.

Brutal wildfire smoke Sunday through Oregon. I rode through the east coast smoke in June…it was Nothing compared to this! At one point, maybe a 3-car visibility on I-5.

My 68 year old cousin has early onset Alzheimer's , It has been about 4 years now. Talks very little. Lives with my 92 year old aunt. He retired at 58 so he got a few good years in.
I went for the dreaded colonoscopy yesterday, which my doctor had been pushing me to do since I hit 50 last year. So... that was fun.
