I AM a MU fan but even I'll agree, that that penalty was very iffy.

Fantastic come back win by the Toon day & badly needed with wins by Cardiff & Soton, getting tight down there again

No way, I am Dutch from Rotterdam so I am a Feyenoord fan. Lets just say they are the "Newcastle united" of the Netherlands. A Traditional working class club with big successes in the past but now struggling financially to keep up with the big clubs.

Especially after the first half when Everton looked awful.

I had to do a double take to really see if it was them in the 2nd half.

Newcastle scored a late late equalizer at 92.45 is 3 minutes of injury time. About time the gods noticed us.

Everton win THREE in a row - Chelski, West Ham, and Arsenal! WTF is happening?

Congrats ....I did watch the ARS game. EVE played very well and ARS looked flat/disorganized.

It's not the Prem - in fact, it's League 2 (Division 4 in old money) - but I thought you might like to watch this goal for the Grecians by Hiram Boateng from yesterday afternoon:

(you might also enjoy the lower division radio commentary!) (& if you look closely, you might also enjoy watching me going apesh*t on the terrace behind the goal!)

Nice goal, I've certainly seen better goals at St James Park but the other one.

Good result for Newcastle this week 1-0 away at Leicester, pretty much stopped the Foxes playing for most of the game. We're probably safe now.

You mean "not the original one"?!!

(you have to remember - this is 4th Division football - we are not regularly spoiled by this sort of quality!!!)

How old is the Exeter one? The Newcastle one has been used for football since 1880 & by the Toon since 1892.

Hah! - well, the Grecians have been playing at St James Park since 1904 - but prior to that, Exeter Utd & St Sidwell's Utd both played on land on the site which was also used for pigs (which were there for fattening) & "tenants of low repute"! For much of the time, it still looks like fattening pigs would be more fun to watch than what passes for football at St James...

OMG! MU with multiple new assholes ripped today. If EFC played this good every game, we would be top 4 easily. Well, United was total shite too so that helps. Still, top quality today from Siggy, Richarlison, Digne, etc. Up the Toffees!!!

Don't worry - EFC will most likely lose against Palace, Burnley, and probably Tottenham also. That's what they do!

Newcastle now officially safe along with Palace & Bournemouth. Now its down to Cardiff (31), Brighton (34), Southampton (36) & Burnley (39) for the last spot

Cardiff - Fulham, Palace, Man U
Brighton - Tottenham, Newcastle, Arsenal, Man City
Southampton - Watford, Bournemouth, West Ham, Huddersfield
Burnley - Man City, Everton, Arsenal

Burnley have a tough last 3 games but probably have enough points already, Southampton should easily pick up any points they need. Brighton's run-in is absolutely brutal, the point they got at the weekend is huge in that context. Cardiff have to be the favorites to go down but it's really between them & Brighton.

I'm thinking Brighton drop bc of the mountain they have in front of them.

What about CHE 2 - BUR 2 today ??? that was a pretty decent game. Was getting a bit ugly near the end though.

I'd love to see Cardiff go down, just because of how much I hate Neil Warnock, but Brighton really have been appalling in recent weeks, and it doesn't appear that Hughton, sadly, has any answers to their problems. And that run-in is just VICIOUS. Burnley's doesn't look great, either.
