Apparently, he's been given full control of transfer policy, too. Unfortunately, given their past record, I can't see either of the Dildo Brothers or Brady resisting the temptation to start meddling for long.

OK - this may be one of the few times in life that I'll root for Liverpool - I'm just so sick and tired of Real winning so much. So Liverpool it is - from this blue.

I always cheer for an English team versus a continental.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

    What's your prediction?

    Here is mine:

    Real 3 - 2 Liverpool

Fulham go up to the Premier next season after beating Villa 1-0 in play-off final.

Watching Real Madrid vs. Liverpool, because I have no choice. So I'm pretending I like soccer right now.

Two worst goalkeeping mistakes I ever seen in a major final. Horrendous.

Disgusting cynical play from Real - but Bale's first goal .....holy fuck!

Cynical, how so? There’s no way they could lose when Karius gifts them two howlers, I’ve never seen anything quite so bad. I ended up feeling sorry for him, I imagine that’s him on the way out.

Ramos deliberately tried to injure Salah, and then the usual rolling around pretending to be injured. Real were the better side and Karius was awful.

I agree. You can see how Ramos really tugged down on Salah's arm while they were about 1/2 way down. Brutal !

He is world renowned as one of the masters of the 'dark arts'. He's the most red carded player in La Liga history and he's only 30. I'd say the Spanish & Italian leagues are rife with this type of play.

You're way ahead of me - I don't even know what sport they play.

This is Ed we are talking about, I'd just give up trying to make sense of it, as have the members of the American Football & Baseball threads.

I know nothing about The Browns, so I don't get it either.

    I'll get this thread re-started as the 2018-19 season kicked off yesterday...watching TOT/NC as I type ......

Hoping that MU can rise to #1 this season....too many times being "close" but not quite there.

Everton look promising. Jags red card, probably justified. Richarlson is gonna be a thorn in opponents side, and I like it!
