So ProgDay did not satisfy your prog fix!? Come to Austin Sept 17 & 18.

I've posted about this fest before but now that ProgDay is over and this festival is coming up in two weekends there might be some here that are interested.

It's called the Voyager Music Festival or VoyagerFest: 29 bands on 2 stages...workshops and a ROBOT DRUMMER !!!

And the best part: just $25 for a 2-day pass in advance ($30 at the door). One day passes are $15. Can't beat that for all this progressive music plus the sights and sounds and delicious cuisine that Austin, TX brings.

http://www.voyagerfest.org/ has been updated with the full schedules, ticket purchase, band info, videos and more!

Here's a taste of the music you will hear on each day:

Hmm.. I have to admit that I'm only aware of one of those bands "Thirteen of Everything". I wasn't aware that they still exist.

I should have looked twice. Of course I know Herd of Instinct and Proud Peasant too.

If you love symphonic prog as I do you'll love Proud Peasant. Here's a selection from the first VoyagerFest:
