There is no information on the NM band coming to Dallas on the concert halls website It only goes to Mid Decemnber...- I cant buy tickets yet. Now watch they'll go on sale in a month and I will have forgotten all about this...

Not sure what the price difference gets you - does this place even have seating? Either way I'll be checking it out - can't believe he is making a Dallas stop!

Well, what do you expect from Portnoy?? I'll get the album for sure, but will be expecting a typical Neal Morse album.....which has yet to result in disappointment for me ;-)

So much faith for a realist.

Nothing to do with faith. Neal's been making essentially the same album since 1995, and I just happen to like his patented prog formula, so I always know what I'll be getting

So you have faith that you won't be at all surprised by the result. I'm not saying your faith is unfounded.

In see they play Tel Aviv next April, wonder if Roger Waters called Morse yet to tell them not to play there, HEY, I started this thread so I get to be a smart ass.

Saw NMB in Chicago last tour, loved it, will definitely go again.

^ Are you kidding? Neal's gonna sell a Holy Land Tour VIP package and bring a couple busloads with him.

Apparently, it's based on A Pilgrim's Progress. The first 80 or so pages of that tome, anyway, with Morse suggesting they maybe should have done a 5 CD box to cover the whole book and implying they may do a "part 2" in the future. Sounds like typical Neal

yeah - sounds fantastic - pre-orders start today right? Sounds like it was going to flow directly into another song so tracks are probably all linked, more of ? album sound to it than his recent work - probably my favorite of his solo albums so this bodes very well.

I am glad that Neil releases new music. Most artists wont.

Just listened to the Song... Didn't Mike Portnoy recently quit a band that sounds a LOT like this? I guess he got over his weariness with the style.

I doubt he was ever weary of the style. Just the schedule.

Okay, I don't like to listen to stuff ahead of album releases (prefer to take it all in at once as an album), but I did listen out of curiosity. And.........it sounds like a Neal Morse patented prog formula album. Which is good, and I like it. Awesome playing, good music. No surprises whatsoever for me, however. Of course, that's just the overture, so we'll see, but I fully expect more of the same from these guys and this didn't disappoint. I'm not sure how this is better than his other albums just based on this.

Again though, it sounds great and I will get the album for sure and can already tell I will like it a lot.

Everything I bought by him sounded like it was rolled off the same printing press. So if all his stuff sounds the same which I would guess it does then I'm sure you are right.

I have everything Neal's ever done and his stuff DOES NOT all sound the same.
That would be AC/DC. Or Ramones.
