I won't call it the best song Yes ever did, but this song came out when I was 13 and I was totally digging stuff like this, Seperate Ways from Journey, Radio Ga-Ga, and Mr. Roboto. They were some of the first albums I bought.
Me too. In fact off the top of my head some other stuff I had around the same time were: A flock of seagulls-same (vinyl) and these on cassette: Styx-Kilroy was here, Def Leppard-pyromania, Duran Duran-Rio, Journey- Frontiers and Van Halen-1984(though it might have been my brothers I don't remember). Of course I was big into Led Zeppelin then too(just before I got big into Yes)but that's a whole other story. The point is I was mainly into classic rock and mainstream rock and maybe a little bit of new wave which also popular at the time.

Most of us have mellowed out a bit since the old RMP and PE v. 2 days that's true.

Same here. "Owner" came out when I was 12. "Mr. Roboto" was a big favorite for me back then.

I think so, yes. I've had the same thought.

Sort of a Top Ten* but also the best from each album

    Does It Really Happen
    Owner of a Lonely Heart
    Hold On
    Leave It
    Cinema
    Shoot High, Aim Low
    I'm Running
    Brother of Mine
    Lift Me Up
    The Miracle of Life
    Footprints
    Open Your Eyes
    The Calling
    Endless Dream
    Homeworld
    New Languages
    In The Presence Of
    Fly From Here
    Into The Storm
Subwa....Nah, doesn't make the expanded Top 10. Not even close.

(no point in trying to rank them)

    * math types might point out this is closer to a Top 20.
