    Since Hermann died in 1975, any influence probably went the other way.

    Yeah, that's my recollection as well. Scott Muni's "Things From England" hour was about it. Otherwise, Carol King and Elton John 24/7.

    THE college station was WFMU. WBAI was required listening as well.
