    Sunday All Over the World

Last weekend I was listening to Delicious Agony (online prog radio) while mowing the lawn and had to turn the mower off to write down the name of the band I had just heard...Sunday All Over the World. I had heard of this project some years ago but never checked it out. Fripp. Toyah. Gunn. A drummer I never heard off. That night I went to Turn It UP! in Brattleboro (VT) and scored a used copy of their only LP "Kneeling at the Shrine" for $5...must have been meant to be mine! First listen last night...wow! As a reviewer suggested, sounds a heck of a lot like '80s Crimson (note the placement of the apostrophe) with Kate Bush on vocals! Great stuff. Don't know how I missed this all these years! Fans?

Huge fan! Great album. Lots of classics in my book - Freedom is one of them of course. Storm Angel another one.

You should get Toyah's Ophelia's Shadow, too. Almost the same band (different guitarist) - IDENTICAL sound

Fripp said he'd be working on an archival live release from this band. That'd be one I'd like to hear.
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.

IIRC, the band was originally called fripp, Fripp (with the first f lower case).

I got some mileage out of this when it was released. I should have a new spin, as it's been a few years.

He played on the Fripp/Summers album, Bewitched.

Good stuff. Pity that they only did one album.
