Gilli Smyth RIP

Very sad news... though she was mainly know for her space whispers (an essential part of the Gong sound and style) I'm wondering how far Gilli was involved in the writing/composing process of the band. I was just listening to Continental Circus and noticed that strangely enough all the tracks (including the fully instrumental ones) are fully credited to Gilli Smyth (only).

That was purely a publishing arrangement - the music/lyrics were in fact all Daevid's. She was only ever involved in designing her own space whisper parts. The "guys" took care of the rest.
