At the end of 2014, Véronique Vincent and Aksak Maboul (the cult project of Crammed label founder Marc Hollander) completed and released Ex-Futur Album, a trailblazing avant-pop record with genre-wrecking leanings, which they had written, recorded and left unfinished over 30 years earlier (1980–1983). The album was received with enthusiasm, the protagonists formed a new Aksak Maboul line-up with three young musicians, and started performing around Europe, enchanting audiences with a powerful, rich and modern set which draws freely from the latest five decades in the history of pop music. The band are currently working on material for a new album.

Experimental pop band Aquaserge has been a subterranean driving force in the international music scene for the last few years. Their polymorphous music draws from original psych pop, free jazz, noise, vintage French film music, pataphysics, and the most adventurous side of ‘60s/’70s rock. They’re represented in the 16 Visions project by two of their core members, Julien Gasc & Benjamin Glibert.

Finnish musician Jaakko Eino Kalevi lives in Berlin and has released five albums of visionary outsider pop, the latest of which came out via Domino in 2015. He was formerly a tram driver in Helsinki. ‘a dashing synth-pop troubadour of Platonic perfection… the prevailing mood of his music music is louche, elegant, a little hazy around the edges… romantic and melancholic.’ Pitchfork

Laetitia Sadier was the lead vocalist with arch-influential UK band Stereolab, which she co-founded in 1990. She lives in London, and has released three albums under her own name (the latest one in 2014). ‘Laetitia Sadier has one of the most recognizable voices inall of indie rock. For well over a decade she provided the sanguine vocals for Stereolab, arguably one of the most profoundly influential bands of the past 20 years.’ Stereogum"
