Happy 69th Birthday to Ian Anderson!

even though he's considered the "Prog" label to be derogatory (living) in the past; but I believe he's changed his opinion a bit on that(?)

Happy Birthday to my mentor, even though you don't know it.

I'm amazed how good he sounded in Montreal last month at 68! Happy Birthday!

It would be very remiss of me to not wish a happy birthday to the man 50% responsible for my email name. So I am.

Take good care of yourself. I still enjoy hearing what you have to say & compose.

Wow, I played disc one of "Nightcap" on Tuesday night, and didn't even know it was his birthday. After I saw this thread yesterday, I went ahead and played disc two and the Isle of Wight CD (which has two "Benefit" songs that aren't on the DVD). And sang "Aqualung" at a karaoke bar last night, too. Of course, I never need a reason to play Jethro Tull...
