Lol. Didn't see the game vs. Texas A&M but man, that's gotta be a huge slice of humble pie for UM after beating up on two cream puff teams.

Better than last year's???
I watched 2/3 of the first half of the OSU-Notre Damn game before I quit recording it, deleted it from my DVR, and changed channels. I didn't watch last week's or this week's games.
I think I'm getting to the point that I'm done with college football.
Hey, did you see this: Garrett Wilson Scores His First Two NFL Touchdowns. Wait 'til you see the full headline.

Middle Tennessee draws first blood in Miami.....
Jeezuz, what a f***ing embarrassment. Hurricanes look horrible. Pick sixes, fumbles, etc. 24-3, Middle Tennessee.
^ Buckeyes still look like a pinball machine.
Volunteers finally beat Florida, albeit not a great Florida team. They have quite the gauntlet left, LSU next week then Alabama and still have Kentucky and Georgia back-to-back later.
Damn zebras are taking this win away from us. TF.
Volunteers finally get that Alabama monkey off their back. TN haven't beaten Bama since Saban came on board.
Saban looking miserable on the sideline is always priceless

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

In Miami we still call him ......Dick Satan....:
The Hurricanes are unraveling before our eyes. No one can take a hit and hang on to the ball on this f***ing team.
The Paper Tigers are falling today. Mississippi, UCLA, Texas.
Oregon looked explosively good last night. It's funny. When they opened their season against an SEC team, they couldn't seemingly move the ball. Funny how that happens.
The Clemson/Syracuse game was pretty damn good, too. Too bad the Orange couldn't pull it out.
I have found quite a bit of NFL this year to be unwatchable (being a Panthers fan probably doesn't help), but big-time college games have been reliably entertaining.
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.
Everyone in Big Orange Country have been on cloud 9 after The UT outlasted Bama and then spanked little UTM (UT's satellite university) but they can't expect to beat UK, let alone Georgia, and not play defense. SEC has that damn conference championship game too. Still, been a better season thus far than was expected.
Then there's my other team, The U of M Wolverines, need to get beat a ohio state for a 2nd time in row, this time in columbus. Neither Michigan or osu have played anybody of note thus far, except Big Blue did beat a ranked Penn State.
I watched that Top 25 show on ESPN a week ago (the one with Rece Davis, Joey Galloway, David Pollack, and Kirk Herbstreit). They announced that the playoff will be expanded to 12 teams in a few years. Here's how it supposed to shake out:
the 12 teams will be made up of the 6 highest ranked conference champions + the 6 highest ranked teams that are not conference champions
the top 4 ranked conference champs will get a bye the first weekend
the first weekend of playoffs will be played at campus stadiums
the quarterfinals and semifinals will be played at bowl games
the championship game will be played on a neutral field
the new format is supposed to begin 2026 but may possibly begin as early as 2024
If it had been in effect for last season, here's how the playoffs would have transpired:
No. 5 seed Georgia vs. No. 12 Pitt (ACC champ)
No. 6 seed Notre Dame vs. No. 11 Utah (Pac-12 champ)
No. 7 seed Ohio State vs. No. 10 Michigan State
No. 8 seed Ole Miss vs. No. 9 Oklahoma State
The four teams with first-round byes would play the winners of the previous playoff games:
No. 1 Alabama (SEC champ) vs. Ole Miss/Oklahoma State winner
No. 2 Michigan (Big Ten champ) vs. Ohio State/Michigan State winner
No. 3 Cincinnati (AAC champ) vs. Notre Dame/Utah winner
No. 4 Baylor (Big 12 champ) vs. Georgia/Pitt winner
I don't entirely understand why they went to 12 teams rather than 8. Unless it's to give the top 4 an extra week to rest. But, oh well. This is better than just 4 teams.

Just saw the weirdest football game ever. Miami@Virginia. It was all field goals and ended tied in regulation. Then in OT it turned into a soccer game. Nothing but free kicks. Finally we scored a TD and won the damn thing. The most ridiculous game of football I've ever seen. It was torture.
