Had a hell of a great time at the WMU vs. Idaho game tonight. In the end we mashed them taters!

Nope. Hate talking 2017 football on a thread labeled 2016. Can't do it.

Watching Miami vs. Toledo. The Hurricanes were cocky in the first quarter but then got a good kick in the balls.

Toledo is all offense and no defense. It caught up to them in the 2nd half.

That game had one hell of an ending.

The Hurricanes are coming to life a bit. Low scoring, boring, but we are winning.

I'm watching Ohio St dissect Maryland. Your game is where I'm switching when the commercials come on. (Which is frequently.)

How about that crazy WMU vs Buffalo game today. 8 overtimes and over 5 hours to play. WMU came out on top in the end which made my happy, but it was some ugly defensive football.

    71 - 68.

Thought college basketball season had kicked off.
Perhaps finding the happy medium is harder than we know.

Maryland doesn't have enough money to get top ten caliber players.

Looking at 5-0 #9 Wisconsin's remaining schedule now, the only game they won't be favored by at least 7 is the Michigan game (maybe, thanks to MI State), which is at home. If they don't defecate the futon, this is the year they just might finish in the top #4.

I was surprised to find out yesterday from game commentary that only Alabama, Clemson & Ohio State have a better record than the Badgers over the last 4 years in major college football.

Good time to check in on the composite rankings.

Here is the top 20, based on compiling the averages of about 75 different (mostly computer) polls. The rankings composite usually mirrors the Harris poll quite closely:

    1. Clemson
    2. Alabama
    3. Georgia
    4. Penn St.
    5. Washington
    6. Washington St.
    7. TCU
    8. Ohio St.
    9. Miami FL
    10. Wisconsin
    11. USC
    12. Notre Dame
    13. University of Central Florida
    14. Michigan
    15. Oklahoma St.
    16. Auburn
    17. San Diego St.
    18. Oklahoma
    19. Michigan St.
    20. Virginia Tech

Why the f are the Hurricoons doing an on side kick to open the first half, when they were down 1 point?
