Mike Oldfield - Music of the Spheres

I suppose I picked this one up whenever it was new...I honestly don't remember...But I don't remember it ever making an impact on me. But by chance my iPod shuffled to it this evening and dang if there isn't some really lovely music on there. I'm going to have to give it a more in depth listen. Any other fans?

I have it but it has been a while. Will need to revisit. I only remember that it is very mellow which isn't a bad thing.

It is little bit too "soft" and easy going stuff but I still enjoy playing it once in a while.

It's better than all his recent uninspired rock-recordings!

There is exactly one recent rock-recording by Mike Oldfield...

    It should have read:
"...than his recent rock-outing and several of his meanwhile not so recent and also not very rock-oriented releases..." (all the ibiza stuff)

I should probably check this one out. I find his stuff after Incantations very patchy, from the brilliance of Amarok to the very good Songs Of Distant Earth & the variable TB retreads.
