Dream the Electric Sleep - Beneath the Dark Wide Sky (2016)

The new album "Beneath the Dark Wide Sky" from Dream the Electric Sleep is released today.

It was produced by Nick Raskulinecz who produced the last couple Rush albums.

Having heard it only once, I'm already enjoying it. Very dense and layered, yet melodic and not excessive.

    Anyone else heard it?

The first two albums are both linear concept albums, so taking the songs individually, they loose some of their context. Their first album "Lost And Gone Forever" is the only album I can ever remember written about Coal Mining. My grandfather grew up in the coal mines of the southeast and the album captures that life very well.
