TYS also tours somewhat regularly, so this isn't likely to be the only opportunity to see them.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

TYS are touring with Haken for a couple of weeks starting Aug 30, including ProgDay weekend in Boston. They play together on Sept 9 in Richmond, VA, then it looks like TYS booked the Local 506 gig on Sept 10 because Haken is playing at ProgPower in Atlanta that same night. So, I'll get to see TYS in Chapel Hill on the 10th since I live nearby, but I sure wish Haken could play closer to me than Richmond.

Should know in about 2-3 weeks whether or not I can make it.
Will you be making it this year ???

    Anybody else ???

Hey, seriously contemplating going this year (FINALLY!!!). Can someone clue me in on cheap hotels in the area or anyone in need of a roommate?

I just thought it was yet another sub-genre of prog. You know, like Progday features L-Prog bands. :-)

Oh f**k! This means I have to drive Dale from Chicago to Chapel Hill.

I'm too old for this shit.

I GUARANTEE it will be a memorable trip that we will talk about for years! (I'll let you determine whether the trip will be fondly remembered or not!)

Be careful if he wants to make a stop on the way home, you may end up freeze dried on the couch.
