Had a great one! we fired off everything we had, and then just as we were shutting down mother nature gave us one incredible show that made what we were doing look - well, pretty lame. We lost power, and I spent the night on the floor trying to stay cool without Air conditioning. Texas and no air conditioning - or even a fan ... what a nightmare... I could have fired up the generator, but it was late and I was tired. Funny though, Ma nature just sometimes raises her head and says, "I'm taking things over for a while..", all we can do is say "Yes Ma'am"

Great holiday, the 4th. I'm ready for next year. Unlike Christmas, where I honestly wish it were a Biennial event. Seems you just finish it, and blammo, its back again. Pity Jesus wasnt born on February 29th.

And what's up for next year? Are trying to get an American built missile? LOL

I'm American, btw, and that's why I posted this thread. And I enjoyed hanging out with my son and daughter-in-law in Toms River, NJ, for the 4th, before heading back to Blighty for business.

Wooah, where's that coming from? I see no hate in this thread. Just some fun comments.
