I suppose that's one interpretation of the events. Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum left the Vinnie Vincent Invasion, and formed Slaughter, with a different drummer and guitarist (though Bobby Rock, who had been the drummer in VVI eventually toured Slaughter years later).
The other one that I had in mind was Carlos Santana, who was not a member of Santana for a brief time in 1971.
Is that right? I never heard that before. I know Carlos said one time there was a lot of fighting within the band's ranks in the early days. I think he said when he was preparing the Viva Santana compilation in the late 80's, he was reminded about it because a lot of arguing in the studio apparently got captured on tape, they'd be arguing and swearing at each other in between takes or whatever.
Chris - Kooper is correct.
The Royal Teens had 2 follow-up hits to "Short Shorts", "Big Name Button" & then, in a switch to doowop, "Believe Me".
Blues Project & BS & W are right.
The 2 albums are "Super Session" w/Stills & Bloomfield & Dylan's Hwy 61 Revisited. Both of those sold more units than Let It Bleed or LS.
I actually figured it'd probably be you.

What do CSN&Y, Brewer & Shipley, Ornette Coleman, Thomas Dolby, Merle Saunders, Bruce Hornsby, and Sanjay Mishra all have in common?
Super Session really outsold Let It Bleed?
I suppose I should upgrade to CD to get the tracks w.out the horn section added.
This song about an awkward kid trying to buy a condom made it to #1 in the UK. What was it?

So nobody knows the answers to my questions?
What musician wrote and recorded music commissioned by Lego for an installation at toy store FAO Schwartz?
No one's going to guess this, so I'll give a hint - he's related to a well-known bass player.

The only other band I know Moerlen was in was Brand X, but I don't think they ever had two drummers. I mean, at the same time on stage... I know Brand X sometimes were "two different bands" recording at two different places...

What Beatles song did Paul McCartney write about a future Wings member?
