I saw Gary Husband and others sharing this link to help Larry Coryell.

The Relief page describes what happened to him:

PLAYERS School Faculty Member and Jazz Legendary Guitar Player Larry Coryell recently underwent a routine sinus surgery and suffered severe complications due to the permeation of a membrane that ultimately allowed bacteria to leak into the brain, causing a serious infection and sepsis. Larry was recently released from hospital after two weeks stay and is now at home receiving IV antibiotics for the next 6-8 weeks. Larry’s performances have had to be cancelled for this time period as well. The out of pocket cost for the medicine and supplies is $1400 per week. Donations/funds raised will be used to offset the cost of those antibiotics.

Larry's Facebook page gives this update:

Hi Everyone,
A brief message on Larry's current condition:
Although home from hospital after the sinus surgery mishap that left him with a brain infection, his day to day status is hard to predict - some are good some are bad. His treatment/cure lasts until July 29 ; possibly an additional 2 weeks, but we are praying for the former. Our friend and colleague , Vicky Berlin , President of The Player's School of Music has graciously set up a Relief Fund for Larry, via the School's website. We are humbly and sincerely grateful for all her support. Thank you all as well for your concern, support and encouragement.

Our friend the great Larry Coryell is convalescing, is at home and thankfully is recovering nicely, albeit slowly. He's been very seriously ill, for those who don't know. But of course all his summer work is cancelled and his medical fees have been/are astronomical. So I am sharing a link here which enables everyone who wishes to help with Larry's current situation right now to make life a little easier for him. Thank you.
Get better soon Larry sir.
