The Humps - Camel Tribute Band - Live in Europe
The Humps - Camel Tribute Band - 2013 European Tour
The Humps, Camel’s No.1 tribute band are embarking on their second
European tour March 14 2013.
The Humps were formed with the goal of reviving Camel’s timeless
compositions, aiming at younger (and older) crowds who might not get a
chance to hear Camel’s music live.
Returning to Europe after a short and well perceived tour in 2008. The
Bands musical diet consists mainly on Camel’s classic era. the 70’s,
with albums like “Camel” “Mirage” “The Snow goose” “Moonmadness” and
others. While playing a 2 hour set it’s almost impossible to leave a
camel fan unsatisfied.
Upcoming dates:
15.3.13 @ Musiktheater REX, Bensheim, Germany
16.3.13 @ Bergkeller,Reichenbach, Germany
18.3.13 @ OK Andaluzja, Piekary Slaskie, Poland
21.3.13 @ Spirit of 66, Verviers, Belgium
22.3.13 @ boerderij, Zoetermeer, Holland
23.3.13 @ De Pul, Uden, Holland

are doing a great job, in this 2 hour show I felt like Camel are still
alive and kicking…”
“ What a great tribute, a great and generous set-list. The band just
let the music speak for itself and, they’re modest like a Camel …”

I've seen them many times over the last few years and they're always impressive, so much so that I invited them to open for a Three Friends show last November.
They certainly didn't disappoint.

I also saw them open for Three Friends and I really enjoyed what I heard. I have not been a fan of Camel, they're pleasant enough but I never really got into them, however, after HUMPS, I think I'll be more receptive next time I put on one of the two lps I have. That night, the music coming off a stage, it worked for me. I'd go again.
