don't need this at all. I've got the Traffic I need, I don't care all that much for BF, I can hear the three SDG hits (almost) anytime on classic radio and TBH, inhis solo career, I only care for his debut, and the great About Time... I don't mind Roll with it either.
I really don't like (euphemism) what he did in the 80's, save for one bloody brilliant track (despite the bad frigging drums): Freedom Overspill

Freedom Overspill is a solid classic!
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

I don't own it, but Arc Of A Diver was a pretty good album.

Traffic or no, I've been listening to a cassette of "Far From Home" while working outside and I think it is pretty decent. My cassette has no credits because it's a promo, but I like it,

Over 50 years, in fact. His first number one hit with The Spencer Davis Group was in 1965.

It's more like a Winwood solo album that leans slightly in the Traffic direction, but it's not bad.

Actually... its not a re-release. (unless you're counting in the Evening Blue set).

This is a stand-alone version of Chris's long-thought-lost solo album which Island rejected in 1978 (reasons unknown) and, after he died, the tapes disappeared. We found them in an outbuilding in the West of England during April 2013 and they became the heart of the Evening Blue project.

Now that has pretty much sold out (we have just a handful left), we began preparing this and its in manufacturing right now.

Moon Child Vulcan is in exactly the same (vinyl) running order as Chris sequenced it back in October 1978. Personally, I'd have switched the A and B side but thats how he saw it so thats how it remains. We've added in a further 16 tracks – demos, alternate mixes, outtakes and others of his own recordings as part of the download.

Its out worldwide on October 20th and in a normal gatefold sleeve with a 24page insert stapled to the spine – if anyone's got an original vinyl copy of the 2nd Traffic LP, its a bit like that. CW Moon Child Vulcan Front Cover LO-RES.jpg

    hey thanks for chiming in

Are you planning a CD release?? (I don't buy vinyls... or very rarely)

Who's playing on the original tracks and do you have a track (and length) list , please!?!?
(from your description,I'm not really into the bonus tracks, though)

    Yes it does help, thx

However if Wood had a choice of release in 78 between vinyl and CD, he would've chosen both, most likely

Well, since the first commercial CD was not produced until the Summer of 1982, it seems unlikely...
