Wow - that's an intense tour! Is this band a full-time gig for anybody or is this a 'side' project from their day jobs?

    Damn.

I'll be out of town when they are in Seattle.

I hope they do well enough to warrant a return at a later date.

    Best of luck to them.

NYC- Bent Knee, Iris Lune, Miracle Sweepstakes, Dahl Haus. Doors @ 7:30. Tickets $8-. Eight Bucks!!??** I'd gladly pay more....

**(That's eight bucks more than what they charged at their Lincoln Center gig a few months ago. Worth every penny.)

Wouldn't be surprised if that Worcester, Ohio date is actually in Wooster. Someone may have written what someone said and assumed. I found one reference to a Worcester in Mansfield, but Mansfield's not really big enough to have a suburb, so I'm dubious.

    Hello moecurlythanu -

Wooster, Ohio is probably correct! I resided in Wooster for approximately 12 years. Part of my worklife was spent there in capacity as the assistant Superintendent, and short stint as Super, of the golf course at Wooster Country Club. Nice smallish city/town, once the proud home of the Rubbermaid Corporation with Smuckers Corp down the road, and also home to OSUniv Agriculture School. For a private concert to occur doesn't surprise me. A fairly wealthy and bit eclectic community! As well a college town with the college of Wooster.

Bent Knee band is doing some serious travel between gigs. Lots of relatively wide open space as one heads West....

    Carry On

Yeah, I've been to Wooster a few times, but never for a concert. The tiny college town in which I've seen a few concerts was Oberlin.

Looks like they are doing about 8 hours drive between gigs except the Kansas City to San Fran leg. Road Warriors.

San Jose-to-Eugene is about 10-12 hours - it's some 600 miles. But most of the jumps beyond that are shorter hops. Every gig after Seattle requires a ferry ride, though, which can take a while. And crossing customs can take forever, especially for bands

But you're right - that's a Sleepytime level of driving, and I'd bet they just have an Econoline or something like it to tour in, not a bus.

I'm supposed to be at the beach with my in-laws the day Bent Knee plays Portland. Looks like I'll need a "work excuse" to get back in time for the Sunday show

Hope they stop in Colorado for a show during one of their future jaunts across the country.

Wow! Finally a band plays two dates on either side of me (Seattle and Port Angeles, WA). Road Warriors for sure! Will certainly try to make both.

Bent Knee at the miniBar in Kansas City last night. Fantastic show for a far too few (but enthusiastic) crowd.
One of our local bands who opened the show might be in interesting to a few folks here as well:
