^ Goes to show that just like Embryo, Gila, Amon Düül II and Ash Ra Tempel, Agitation Free were a stupendous live band. Crazy, wonderful times gone by.

Agitation Free is one of my favorite bands of all time. I agree with what others said though in that I strongly prefer their live material, especially At the Cliffs of the River Rhine and Last. Fragments is interesting but it doesn't have the best sound quality.

Be careful of a release called The Other Sides of Agitation Free - I made the mistake of getting that and it basically sounds like lame Kenny G elevator music.

Malesch gets the call. Haven't heard it in a long while, what a great listen. The vibe invites me in and waxes my bikini line. With leather. And wurst.

Ok did both Malesch and 2nd, and I like them both very much. Possibly the first one by a snot hair, but there is a warmth that is pretty unique. I need to explore further as these are the only albums I've heard by these lunatics.

Their Live '74 album is most worthy.

Is that Cliffs of River Rhine album?

German based American band Sweet Smoke was very similar to Agitation Free, although song based and some singing. But the Grateful Dead and arabic influences are also very strong, and, like Agitation Free, most of heir available output is also live.

Been enjoying the creamcheese out of both Malesch and 2nd the past few days, so I just ordered Live Rhine 74 on vinyl. Rhinyl.
